From the orphan site

I read the story in the previous post "A Mother's Heart" from the Orphan website. My heart just breaks when I read those stories. Maybe because I can relate alot to the same feelings when I was a child and teenager. It wasn't that I was an orphan or in foster care but my parents were far from being real parents. The story is about a teen in the US. Think how many children and teens have those same feelings that live here and in other countries. However, there's not even a foster care system here.
It made me think about each of you. Some of you have children already grown...how difficult would it be for you to take another teenager into your home? Some of you are single... wouldn't it be nice to share your love, the love God has given you with another child. Think of how by just making a sacrifice that you can impact another's child life for eternity.
I haven't seen the movie yet "The Blind Side," although one friend of mine has and he says it's excellent. Yes, the people in it are rich and you might say it's easier for them, but there will always be someone richer or poorer than you are. The thing is, some of you reading this are more rich then you realize. Don't you remember that you are a child of the God Most High! Just think if you could share some of that royalty with a child who has no one.
