Saturday people from two of our teams participated in an awareness program. This was in a small city near by. The objective was to bring awareness about children/people who are developmentally disadvantaged and show some of the services that are provided and also show some of the needs. Our group hosted the games.
There were two obstacle courses. One was to test out a wheel chair, the other was to walk a course wearing special glasses. Each pair simulated a different impairment.
It was great that children from nearby public schools stopped by at the college grounds to check out everything.
